Back to the chronometer

Privacy & local preferences.

Cloudflare Web Analytics provides the site’s existing aggregate traffic report. The optional private journey analytics below is a separate feature.

Your preference

Private journey analytics is not configured on this build.

What private journey analytics records

When enabled, it records pages, rooms that become visible, named files opened, and selected media that starts playing. These records help James understand which parts of the chronometer people explore. They do not identify visitors by name.

The feature does not send contact details, form values, archive search text, query strings, song filenames or referring URLs. It does not record your screen or replay your visit. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable it.

Network services still receive information such as an IP address and browser type when a browser connects. The private analytics dashboard is for the site owner. This preference controls private journey analytics; it does not change Cloudflare’s separate traffic statistics.

What stays in your browser

Your sound preference, visited-room list and analytics opt-out are stored locally. Clearing this site’s browser data removes those preferences. If local storage is unavailable, an opt-out lasts for the current page.
